Congress Seniors Running Away from AP

Congress Senior Leader and AP Congress Affairs Incharge, Digvijay Singh last month wrote a letter to AICC President Sonia Gandhi to relinquish AP affairs from him. Digvijay has offered to continue until a new incharge is appointed.

But then, Congress Senior Leaders are not at all interested in taking up the responsibility fearing failure. Andhra Pradesh has drawn a blank in the last elections and also managed to get meager votes in the recently concluded Nandyal By-Elections.

The party could not even get three digit votes in many wards in the recently concluded Kakinada Municipal Elections. So, no Senior leader is keen on taking the responsibility. Some of them have said that directly to Sonia Gandhi herself.
