Coterie Behind Jagan Mohan Reddy's Fall: Vijaysai Reddy

Vijaysai Reddy finally spoke about what made him come out of Jagan’s party. He said Jagan is surrounded by a coterie and that’s the reason why the distance between him and Jagan came about, said Sai Reddy.

After knowing that he was not in Jagan’s heart, his heart was broken, said Sai Reddy. He spoke to media after attending CID summons regarding the Kakinada SEZ case.

If Jagan manages to squeeze himself out of the coterie, he will have a future. A coterie of leaders has formed around Jagan. If one needs to meet him, the coterie has to be pacified. A leader must not depend on hearsay, said Vijaysai Reddy.

I was asked if I made money by doing business in Kakinada Port issue. I told CID that I didn’t know anything. In the past, in the ED case JD Lakshminarayana added me as A2. Now, in Kakinada Port case too, they have added me as A2. Except that, I didn’t do anything. They have standardized A2 for me. I was in YSRCP when the cases were filed. At the time, I didn’t know the details, said Reddy.

Now I have complete understanding, he further said. I know who did it and how. I was asked if I was trying to divert attention from Jagan and Vikranth Reddy. I don’t know anything, I told them.

All I can say is that I don’t meddle with the company of my son-in-law Saratchandra Reddy. I don’t suggest anyone for a job either, said Reddy.

I was then asked if Jagan Mohan Reddy was involved in the matter. I told them that the deal between KV Rao and Saratchandra Reddy was done by Vikranth Reddy. It doesn’t bother me if the case ends here or is prolonged further. Show one proof that I spoke to KV Rao, asked Reddy.

For three years, I had to face many slights. The second-level leaders tried to create a rift between Jagan and me. Finally, they succeeded. There are many players around him. When he comes out of their clutches, he will have a future. I can’t say more than this, said Vijaysai Reddy.

If someone has to meet him or if a new person has to be introduced to Jagan, the coterie has to have some gain. I told Jagan that if there is no place in his heart for me, there was no point in continuing in the party, revealed Sai Reddy.

I warned Jagan not to fall for the words of others. I told him to make his own decisions. Only then will he able to be of use to party and people. Unless and until he gets rid of the coterie, he cannot progress, I told Jagan, added Sai Reddy.

I don’t know if I will join the party again. ‘Ghar wapsi’ does not apply to me. I am happy doing agriculture. For now, I have no plans of joining any other political party, concluded Sai Reddy.
