Tokyo Olympics have concluded last week. India has ended up with the best tally ever winning seven medals. The tally also includes the country’s first-ever Gold medal in athletics. Paris will host the next edition of the Olympics in 2024. There are 33 sports in Tokyo Olympics and Paris Olympics will have 32.
The number of Sports which will be part of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics is yet to be confirmed. For many years, there are demands that Cricket should be included in the Olympics but it is not happening. India doing well in this Olympics has renewed the demand.
Meanwhile, ICC has made announced that it will continue to push the bid for cricket in the Olympics. “We are looking to get it to include in Los Angeles 2028 Olympics,” the statement read. If at all that happens, India has a good chance of winning the Gold.
We at least will have a Silver or Bronze confirmed for sure given our track record in Cricket.
