Janasena Formation Day celebrations in Pithapuram, the other day, ended up making YSR Congress happy and hurt its own ally, the Telugu Desam Party.
Pawan Kalyan barely spoke about Jagan Mohan Reddy or YSR Congress but two comments made by Pawan and Naga Babu hurt the TDP cadre.

Pawan Kalyan, in his speech, said Janasena made TDP stand while Naga Babu took a dig at SVSN Varma and in the process hurt the TDP cadre as well. Both these comments hurt the TDP cadre big time.
Pawan Kalyan at least tried to contain the damage by praising Chandrababu Naidu but Naga Babu lost it completely.

“No one is the reason for Pawan Kalyan’s Victory in Pithapuram. Only two factors worked. The first one is Pawan Kalyan and the second one is Janasena cadre and people of Pithapuram. If anyone imagines that Pawan Kalyan won because of them, it is their Karma,” Naga Babu said.
This is an indirect dig at Pithapuram TDP Incharge SVSN Varma.

But why should Naga Babu hurt Varma?
It is known to everyone that Varma worked hard for Pawan Kalyan’s Victory in Pithapuram. Pawan Kalyan also acknowledged that.
Chandrababu Naidu promised that Varma would be made an MLC in the first list and it was not honored.
So, if there is anyone who erred, it is Chandrababu Naidu and also Pawan Kalyan because the latter hasa responsibility towards Varma because he sacrificed his seat for the Janasenani.
Did Varma make any negative comments against Chandrababu or Pawan Kalyan in these nine months? NO!
Did Varma revolt for not getting the MLC post? NO!
Did Varma ever claim that Pawan Kalyan won because of him? NO!
We have seen him call for a Pressmeet immediately after the MLCs announcement and asked the cadre to understand the problems of the leadership.
Why should Naga Babu have a problem with Varma? Why should he answer Varma or take a dig at him?
What is the gain in making a strong leader in Pithapuram against Pawan Kalyan?
Not every election will be a wave election like 2024. Pithapuram is not like Kuppam for Chandrababu and Pulivendula for Jagan. It is not easy to create such strongholds these days. 2029 maybe a close election and every vote will count then.
How does it make sense to hurt Varma who is a strong leader locally?
Leaving Varma, we can see that he even discredited the hard work of the TDP cadre in Pawan Kalyan’s Victory.
Naga Babu is in a responsible position now. He has to behave when speaking in the Public.
This is always a problem with Naga Babu. He is always hot-headed and damages his own party.
TDP cadre sensed it well in advance. They objected to giving him an MLC but Chandrababu Naidu did not listen.
There is an impression that Naga Babu is a Casteist and hates the Kamma Community. He always opposed the alliance with TDP.
He previously made cheap videos on TDP and Balakrishna. Those videos were not political rivalry. They exposed Naga Babu’s hatred for the TDP and a community.
Naga Babu is not even on the first day of his MLC term. He is yet to take the oath.
That means he started causing damage to the party from Day Zero itself.
The TDP cadre is fuming at the party leadership for this. Now, it will reach its peak when Naga Babu is inducted into the cabinet.
