We are already more than a month into Demonetization but the Cash Crunch is far from over. The Queues in Banks and ATMs are endless as like they were since the Notes Ban was announced. The Printing of New Notes could not catch up the demand and so the gap between the supply and demand is never bridging.

Banks say that there is no end to the cash crunch because the customers are not depositing back the New 2000 and 500 Notes and the smaller denomination notes. The customers who are repaying the loans are doing that only in Old Notes.
Once the deadline for Old Notes Deposit and exchange finish by December 30th, the customers will only have to use the New Notes or the old notes of smaller denominations for all bank transactions. And only by then the cash woes will suffice.
