YSR Congress has skipped the meeting of the State Election Commission. All the political parties were invited to decide upon the Road Map for the Local Body Elections. YSR Congress says that it is not correct to have the elections with the Pandemic around.
“Without discussing with the Government about the possibility of conducting the elections, Ramesh Kumar has called for an all-party meeting. This is a part of the political conspiracy of Chandrababu Naidu, Sattenapalli MLA Ambati Rambabu alleged.
“When there are only three cases, the elections were postponed. But Nimmagadda wants elections when there are around 3,000 cases per day. There are apprehensions of people getting re-infected. He is doing this at the behest of Chandrababu,” Ambati alleged.
But then, this argument will give rise to a simple doubt. If TDP is weak like how it is portrayed by YSR Congress and Sakshi media, why would Chandrababu want elections? That will only create new problems for the Cycle Party. Did that mean YSR Congress has acknowledged TDP becoming stronger?
Did YSR Congress have specific intelligence about the anti-incumbency of its own Government? Does it fear it will help TDP in the elections? YSR Congress’ reluctance for elections and these type of statements are implying the same indirectly.
