What everyone would normally laugh off as absurd is now turning into a shocking buzz. A wild speculation is spreading across Tamil media, and even a few national journalists covering Tamil Nadu politics are dropping indirect hints on their social media.
It is known that the Governor has reportedly rejected Vijay’s request for the oath ceremony on Thursday, asking him to return with clear proof of majority.
With Vijay and his camp finding it difficult to secure the additional numbers needed, and relying on Congress to negotiate with Left parties and independents, a new rumor has emerged.
There is now wild talk that DMK and AIADMK may be in discussions for a coalition government, with AIADMK possibly exiting the NDA.
For now, this remains pure speculation, but the buzz is gaining traction among Tamil media journalists.

Everything we’re hearing goes completely against the people’s mandate. It would amount to stealing the people’s love and affection for one man. It should NOT happen.
