Jagan Really Controlling BJP?

YS-Jagan-Narendra-Modi-Amit-ShahThe statement made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman about Prime Minister Narendra Modi looking at YS Jagan as a son and her response to the question on Andhra Pradesh’s debts have raised eyebrows. According to Nirmala Sitharaman’s written response to YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishna Raju’s question, Andhra Pradesh’s debt increased from 264,451 crores in 2019 to 442,442 crores by March 2023. She claims that the state’s financial situation is stable and favorable.

However, the opposition alleges that Nirmala Sitharaman might be hiding the true extent of debt incurred by the state government from various corporations. Her statement only mentions the debt taken from RBI but remains silent on other corporations and banks.

The claim that YS Jagan is the richest Chief Minister in the state while Andhra Pradesh remains one of the poorest states is a point of criticism. There have been speculations that YSRCP might be funding BJP, especially during elections in different states in the country.

In response to complaints from the new Andhra Pradesh BJP head, Purandreswari, about AP’s debts, the Finance Ministry reportedly approved the release of funds and debts to AP through RBI.

The political dynamics between YS Jagan, YSRCP, and BJP seem to be complex, and these recent statements and actions are drawing attention and raising questions.
