Of late, we have been hearing multiple cases of drug busts in the twin Telugu states. Now, there’s a new case in the regard and this involves the owner of a leading hotel in Hyderabad.
Going into the story, Sanikommu Prabhakar Reddy was arrested by the police earlier for his involvement in a major drug peddling racket in Hyderabad. One Anuradha and Venkata Shiva Sai Kumar were also arrested in this case.
It is understood that Anuradha and Prabhakar Reddy were close to each other and even used to consume drugs together.
Later, Anuradha told Prabhakar Reddy, the owner of the famous Varalaxmi Tiffin’s in the DLF area of Hyderabad, about her drug trade. She used to transport drugs from Goa to Hyderabad and made money by selling them for a higher price here.
Prabhakar Reddy, despite being the owner of one of the most successful hotels in Hyderabad, decided to get into the trade and he too started peddling drugs along with Anuradha. Venkata Shiva also joined them in the process and the trio used to sell drugs through Whatsapp and Snapchat communications.
Hyderabad police raided the cars of these individuals at the ORR and found packages of
cocaine drugs, MDMA Ecstasy pills, and MDMA Crystal. They were arrested immediately after and are facing charges now.
