The domestic dispute involving YSRCP MLC Duvvada Srinivas is causing a sensation across the state. For the past two days, Duvvada and his wife Vani have been engaged in heated arguments, leading to tensions in Tekkali. Protests, accusations, and complaints have been made by his wife Vani and their two daughters, Hyndavi and Naveena, against Duvvada. This situation is creating a stir within the YSRCP.
The Duvvada affair has become a significant headache for the party, which is already reeling from a heavy defeat in the recent elections. The issue has further complicated the YSRCP’s position, as none of the party leaders have come forward to support Duvvada.

As the situation unfolds, there is speculation that MLC Duvvada may be removed from his position. His wife and daughters are reportedly in a state of confusion, unsure of what to do within the YSRCP. Duvvada never had a strong alliance with influential leaders such as the Dharmana brothers, who served as ministers during YSRCP’s rule from 2019-24, or with another minister, Seediri Appalaraju.
The Duvvada affair has led second-level YSRCP leaders, including MPPs, ZPTCs, MTCs, and Sarpanches, to consider switching parties. Duvvada lacks support not only from the party leadership but also from his fellow party members, with no one speaking in his favor.
