An example is the ongoing investigation into the Delhi Liquor Policy scam, which has led to the pre-election arrests of prominent figures like Kavitha Kalvakuntla and Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal. These arrests affected their respective parties badly ahead of the elections.
