Pawan Kalyan Cases

Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan filed his nomination today for the Pithapuram MLA seat. He submitted his nomination papers at the Mandal Parishad Office in Pithapuram.

He declared total assets worth Rs. 163 crores in his, wife and four dependents’ names. His assets were Rs. 56 crores in 2019. Pawan stated that his income was Rs. 114.76 crore in the last five years.

Meanwhile, the affidavit declares that eight cases are pending on Pawan Kalyan. Out of these, six cases were filed by Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government and two were filed during KCR’s regime in Telangana.

There were three cases filed against Pawan for speaking against the village volunteer system in Andhra Pradesh. They were filed on 17th July 2023, 25th July 2023 and 7th February 2024.

One case was filed against Pawan on November 10, 2022, at Tadepalli, for sitting on the rooftop of a speeding car. Cases were filed in Vijayawada and Eluru on 6th July 2023 and 9th July 2023 respectively for allegedly making provocative statements in public meetings.

In Telangana, a case was filed against Pawan on June 2, 2021, for his alleged statements against former Chief Minister KCR in a public meeting. Another case was filed in Banjara Hills in 2018 for his allegations against a few news channels.
