The officials of the Enforcement Directorate are conducting raids on Telangana Cabinet Minister of Revenue & Housing and Information & Public Relations, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s properties.
The raids are currently underway at Ponguleti’s residence in Jubilee Hills, his farmhouse in Himayat Sagar, his infra offices in Banjara Hills and the houses of his relatives.

The raids started this morning. A total of 16 teams of the ED landed from Delhi this morning and are conducting raids at 15 places simultaneously.
Reportedly, these raids are being conducted in a money laundering case and an alleged customs duty evasion case. However, the officials haven’t officially confirmed anything regarding the case on which the raids are being made.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that ED raided Ponguleti’s properties. His residences and offices were raided in November last year during the Telangana Assembly Elections.

Ponguleti is currently serving as the MLA of the Palair constituency. Besides his political role, he is a prominent businessman managing multiple enterprises.
