Chandrababu Naidu finally started filling up the nominated posts. In the first trench, he announced the Chairmen for Twenty Corporations.
There were a lot of rumors that the allies particularly the BJP were pressuring Naidu for more berths. But that it not seen at least in this list.
In the list of twenty, TDP got seventeen, Janasena got three, and BJP got one. The ratio is similar to the seat-sharing in recent elections.
TDP’s list includes the leaders who worked hard for the party but could not get tickets in the recent elections for various reasons.
For example, Boragam Srinivasulu lost Polavaram ticket to Janasena, Mantena Rama Raju had to vacate his sitting seat to Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, Peela Govinda Satyanarayana sacrificed Anakapalle’s ticket for JSP, Former MP Konakalla Narayana, Peethala Sujatha who was refused ticket, figured in the list.
Some of the leaders who worked hard for the party were also rewarded. Pilli Manikyala Rao’s name was figured in the list.
PS Muniratnam who was the incharge of Kuppam got one and Nandam Abaddayya, a key BC leader of Nara Lokesh’s Mangalagiri also figured in the list.
Naidu also filled up Ninty-nine nominated posts, including chairpersons and directors in various corporations and boards. The list is yet to be out.
