It is known that Manchu Mohan Babu was introduced to politics by Sr NTR. After the 2014 elections, Mohan Babu distanced himself from TDP, saying Chandrababu didn’t fully carry out the fees reimbursement program which affected his Vidyanikethan institution.
Mohan Babu actively supported YS Jagan’s YCP and he even campaigned for the party in 2019. But as it appears, things didn’t go quite as planned between Mohan Babu and Jagan either.
Media reports suggest that Mohan Babu met with TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence in Jubilee Hills a short while ago.
As per our sources, Naidu and Mohan Babu will be meeting again later next week. If this is an indication that Mohan Babu is heading back to TDP, it could well reflect the political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh.
If Mohan Babu really does go back to TDP, he would be the first Tollywood bigwig to leave Jagan and come back to the Chandrababu Naidu party ahead of the 2024 elections.
