It looks like the Film Industry is going to be the most hit sector due to the ongoing Coronavirus scare. Five states and a Union Territory had announced shutdown the film theaters so as to prevent the community-spreading of the Wuhan born virus.
Kerala is the first state to announce the shutdown of the theaters till this month-end. Delhi, Odisha, Karnataka, and Bihar have announced the closure of cinema halls. While the rest of the states have ordered the shutdown till the 31st of this month, Karnataka only ordered the closure for one week.
The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir also shut down the theaters. More states are expected to follow the suit and this will mean a huge loss to the Indian Cinema. The Telugu States have just witnessed one each of the cases and so are bidding time from shutting down of the cinemas and the other businesses.
Meanwhile, the total number of cases reached 75 in India. Three of them are discharged while one death was reported so far.
