Who Is Advising Jagan Mohan Reddy

After staying away from the Assembly for seven months, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his MLAs attended the Governor’s Address today ahead of the Budget session.

When this was announced, TDP criticized that Jagan is attending the house to mark the attendance so that there is no danger of disqualification due to unintimated absence. YV Subba Reddy refuted those allegations saying that they are coming to raise the people’s problems.

YSR Congress Social Media teams are amok from the last couple of days giving elevations to Jagan saying that he will leave the treasury benches panting.

But then, Jagan shocked everyone staging a walkout in the eleventh minute of the Governor’s Address.

Botsa Satyanarayana, the LoP in the Council who was seated beside Jagan was also surprised by the decision to walk out. Later it was decided that they would boycott the Assembly.

This itself ascertain the TDP’s claims that Jagan came to the Assembly just to mark the attendance.

They should have at least sat or protest during the Governor’s Address and then announce the boycott.

But staying in the house for just eleven minutes and announcing the boycott immediately after that is a poorly-made strategy.

During their eleven minutes stay in the house, YSR Congress MLAs and MLCs were giving slogans demanding Opposition Status.

They should have given the slogans on MSP for Mirchi Farmers, Justice for Group II Mains Candidates, or for that matter on any issue which would corner the Government. But they chose to give slogans on the ‘Opposition Status’ which projects as if the party cares only about that.

The kind of elevations the leaders and the social media gave for Jagan’s Assembly attendance indicates that they are not aware of the ‘walk out’ plan and are made to look like fools before the Public.

Jagan may have gone to the Assembly just to mark the attendance but he should have handled the issue in a way that it is not so obvious.

But it is almost like it is written on his face now.

In a way, Jagan just satisfied the ego of Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, the Deputy Speaker who threated Jagan with this disqualification.

Jagan, in a meeting with his MLAs and MLCs, announced that they would continue their fight outside the Assembly if the Government is not giving them the Opposition Status. Leaving aside Jagan, the remaining ten MLAs are denied an opportunity to take the problems of their constituency to the notice of the house.
