Former Minister Gade Venkat Reddy seem to be enthusiastic to join the ruling Telugu Desam Party. Previously he tried to join TDP but that did not happen in the last minute for some reason. Earlier today he directly announced to media that he is ready to join Telugu Desam Party if CM Chandrababu Naidu calls him.

He also supported the ruling party in ongoing Amaravati lands issue. He said that all the party leaders purchased lands in Amaravathi expecting a real boom like any other investor and there is no issue in it. He advised Jagan to file a PIL in high court on the issue and said writing baseless articles in media will be of no use.
Gade is a senior most politician from Prakasam district and got elected from Congress as an MLA for five times. He worked as endowments Minister under Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy in 1993 and in the same portfolio under YS Rajasekhara Reddy & Konijeti Rosaiah between 2009 and 2010. Losing such senior leader will dent Congress further in the state.
