Guntur MP Galla Jayadev announced withdrawing from Politics citing harassment by the state and central governments. In a press meet, Jayadev reveals how despite contributing 1200 Crore State Tax and 3800 Crore Central Tax, he is subjected to witchhunting by the state departments and central agencies like CBI and ED.
Chandrababu Naidu responded to the issue but selectively. He chose to hit Jagan on the issue but did not mention Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
“This Government had driven away Amara Raja from here to other states. They forced a political family to withdraw from politics for now. You all should understand how things are going on in the state,” Chandrababu Naidu said.
Chandrababu fears the BJP taking the side of Jagan Mohan Reddy like how it did in the 2019 elections. So, despite the saffron party having no relevance to Andhra Pradesh politics, Chandrababu wants an alliance with BJP. Hence the silence on the crimes of the BJP.
But then, the BJP is aiding Jagan Mohan Reddy in all possible ways from loans to cases. There are doubts they would still backstab TDP and Janasena even if there is an alliance.
It has to be seen how the BJP issue pans out in this election.
