There is a lot of talk on social media that AP CID is being misused by the AP government to run riot on their political opponents. The same was established when the YCP government jailed CBN in skill case.
Now, the AP CID has been going particularly hard against Margadarsi. The investigating agency has filed a petition against Margadarsi chit funds and the same came to a hearing at the high court today.
Incidentally, the high court suspended the petition filed by AP CID and the order was passed a short while ago.
The CID asked the court to freeze the accounts of Margadarsi branches in Chirala, Vizag, and Seethampeta, but the court didn’t encourage the same and suspended the petition.
The CID tried to irk the operations of Margadarsi Chit Funds by freezing the accounts through the AP high court, but the bench didn’t approve the same.
