High Court Fires on KCR’s Government

KCR-Learns-Lessons-from-Jagan's-Experienceearing to a PIL filed, Telangana High Court expressed its displeasure over the number of Corona tests happening in the state. The High Court questioned the Government why it is testing only the suspects and also asked why the dead bodies are not being tested.

The Government tried to brush off the issue saying that it is following WHO Guidelines in the testing. However, the court did not buy the argument. “Show us those guidelines where WHO asks to tests only those showing symptoms,” the court angrily said.

The court opined that the Government is resorting to confusing the people with various numbers. The Government was asked to give a detailed reply in the form of an affidavit and the court posted the next hearing of the case to the 14th of this month. Telangana has conducted the least number of tests among all the states in the country.

The state is barely testing 150 samples per day. Many believe that the cases in the state have come down only due to the poor testing
