Telangana High Court has snubbed the state government for making a U-turn on its earlier decision. It rapped the government for giving special treatment for the movie Game Changer.
The court reviewed the hike in ticket prices and permissions for benefit shows for Game Changer. The court expressed its disappointment with regards to the special treatment following recent developments and comments made by CM Revanth Reddy in state assembly.

It questioned the govt about giving permissions for benefit shows after announcing their cancelation. HC directed the state government to reconsider its decision to allow special shows in the early hours of the morning after 1am.
The court gave its review to special chief secretary, home department. For the security of people, the court advised that benefit and special shows be banned.

It also mentioned that it was inappropriate on the part of film-makers to make high budget films and collect that money from people.
The High Court deferred the next hearing on the matter to January 24, 2025.
