YSR Congress conducted a Workshop for the party leaders, the other day in Tadepalli. We do not know what ‘work’ they taught in the Workshop but Jagan gave his usual routine speech of praising himself and bashing Chandrababu Naidu.
It’s been four months since the elections but neither Jagan nor the party did any review about the reasons for the horrendous defeat in the recent elections.
Sometimes Jagan says EVM Tampering is the reason and sometimes he contradicts himself saying people believed CBN’s deceitful promises.
In every speech, Jagan delivers an Animuthyam.
“Leaders keep coming to me and saying you should have told lies. I am ready to sit in the Opposition but can not tell lies. Many people may not like when I tell this. There should be meaning for Values and Credibility (విలువలు, విశ్వసనీయత). Only these things will bring us back to power,” Jagan said.
In every meeting, Jagan says this, and YSR Congress Social Media Teams circulate the video adding some filmy BGMs.
Some people resort to Melodrama saying that “నువ్వు మారవు. అందుకే ఓడిపోయావ్”
The truth is quite contrasting.
Jagan Mohan Reddy may have told some of the biggest lies in the history of Telugu politics for coming to power in 2019.
We have seen him deceive the people, particularly the farmers of Amaravati saying that he will continue the capital.
In the name of three capitals, we have seen him break lathis on farmers and tear the sarees of the agitating women farmers of Amaravati for more than 1000 days.
And then, there is Liquor Prohibition.
He deceived the women saying that he would not ask for votes in 2024 without abolishing liquor.
But the reality is he killed people by selling low-quality liquor at the highest prices and also made huge money as the liquor was manufactured in the distilleries belonging to the YSR Congress leaders.
And there are many other failed promises like getting special category status for AP, completion of Polavaram, suspension of comprehensive pension scheme (CPS), yearly job calendar, mega DSC, reduction in power tariff for the consumers, etc.
What happened to those విలువలు, విశ్వసనీయత then? The big question is how Jagan himself stops laughing when saying this nonsense. YSR Congress leaders should be commended the most for controlling laughter.
Probably Jagan has a very low opinion about the IQ of the Public. It is a tragedy that the opinion did not change even after they reduced the YSR Congress from 151 to eleven.
Even after Jagan tried to woo them with freebies, the Public demonstrated immaculate intellect to send him home. But Jagan is still in an illusion he can dupe people by parroting things like విలువలు, విశ్వసనీయత.
