In a tragic incident that took place in Telangana, a B.Tech committed suicide for losing Rs. 25 lakhs in cricket betting.
In the recent past, we have seen many young people getting addicted to cricket betting and losing lots of money. These bettings take place heavily during the IPL season. It is already known that IPL 2024 is currently underway.
Chintha Vineeth, aged 25, who hails from Sadasivapet town in Sangareddy district, got addicted to cricket betting. He took a debt of Rs. 25 lakhs and used the money in betting. Unfortunately, he lost all of it.
Eventually, people who gave debt started chasing Vineeth to pay back their money. After feeling that he had no other way, Vineeth reportedly hung himself to the ceiling fan at home when no one was there and committed suicide.
This is yet another tragic case where a bright youngster lost his life after getting into the web of cricket betting.
