Recent high-level meetings in Delhi have sent positive signals regarding the progress of the Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 project.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accompanied by Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, met with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss crucial transit infrastructure for the state.
The leaders engaged in an extensive discussion lasting nearly an hour and a half. The talks primarily centred around the expansion plans for Hyderabad Metro Phase-2. Additionally, the leaders deliberated on the IRFC (Indian Railway Finance Corporation) loan details related to the state government’s plans to acquire the first phase of the metro network.
The extensive dialogue also covered various other railway projects that are currently pending across Telangana, indicating a coordinated push to clear roadblocks and accelerate regional connectivity.
