A brave and timely response from the Cyberabad Police prevented a heart-wrenching tragedy as they rescued a distressed teenage girl from her suicide attempt at Durgam Cheruvu.
The 16-year-old, grappling with the emotional toll of her parents’ scolding over excessive phone usage, left her home with a heavy heart, pretending to attend college. However, her plans took a grim turn as she found herself at Durgam Cheruvu, contemplating ending it all.
Luckily, her family’s quick action and their timely alerting of the KPHB police saved her life. The police, joined by the Madhapur police, sprang into action and tracked her location. Although she had already jumped into the lake by the time they arrived, the IT Corridor mobile vehicle staff’s expert swimmers skillfully saved her from the water’s depths.
The girl, now safe and stable in the hospital, owes her life to the courageous efforts of the Cyberabad Police. Their commendable work in averting the tragedy deserves high praise and recognition.
