Almost every major urban pocket across Hyderabad, including the densely populated, Madhapur, Hitech city and Begumpet areas were severely waterlogged.

Hyderabad has been growing rapidly with regard to social infrastructure, and there is this constantly need on the government to enhance the living conditions. It has been more than a decade since the formulation of the new state, but neither governments have been very particular about the waterlogging issue.
