IT Notices: Modi & Jagan Begins Election Work

Chandrababu-Naidu-YS-Jagan-Narendra-ModiAn English Newspaper published a News about the Income Tax Department serving notices to Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

According to the Newspaper Report, the Show-cause notice asks why an amount of ₹118 crore, allegedly received by him from some infrastructure companies, should not be treated as “undisclosed income” and be processed as per law.

Interestingly, the Notice is said to have been given on August 4th and the News came out today. That is around one month from the date of the notice. How did it come out? Who is behind the leak? is a different story.

Assuming the Notice is true, it is less likely a former Chief Minister is given such a notice without the involvement of the Central Government. The intention is clear with elections fast approaching in AP and YSR Congress and BJP are hand in glove these days.

We have been seeing the CG allowing extra borrowings to help the state government even though it has exhausted all the limits.

Jagan does not attend a single hearing in his disproportionate assets cases and nothing happens. Avinash Reddy almost went to the verge of getting arrested but the case disappeared all of a sudden.

It is a pity Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan are hoping that the BJP will desert Jagan Mohan Reddy.

We have seen how the Central Government troubled Chandrababu just before the 2019 elections. Even though Babu was the Chief Minister, his hands were tied using the Election Commission. The support played an important role in bringing Jagan to power.

This IT notice is just a repeat of that phase in 2019. But then, the harassment started much in advance this time. It’s high time Chandrababu realizes the shrewdness of Modi and Amit Shah and starts relying on public support more than anything else.

Also, he should start preparing for the worst. This IT notice may be the first of many worse things to come.
