India’s largest glass bridge is set to open soon in Kailasagiri, Vizag, the city of destiny. The cantilever glass bridge stretches 50 metres in length, with the Skywalk positioned close to the Titanic viewpoint, adding to the area’s scenic charm.

The bridge was initially planned for inauguration on August 15 but weather conditions caused a delay. It is now expected to open in September. Once operational, the bridge will become a major attraction, drawing both tourists and adventure seekers.

Built at a cost of Rs 6 crore, the bridge will highlight the lush beauty of Kailasagiri. Visitors will enjoy stunning views of the sea from the structure, making it an unforgettable experience. It is also aimed at boosting adventure tourism in Vizag.

Developed under the PPP model, the bridge can hold 40 people at a time. Until now, the longest cantilever bridge in the country was in Kerala, but Vizag’s new Skywalk will surpass it, adding another landmark to the city.

The project also includes sky cycling tracks and two-way zip lines. Final decisions on ticket pricing and opening will follow approval from the VMRA commissioner. For travellers seeking a weekend adventure holiday, Kailasagiri in Vizag is ready to impress.
