The VFS Global, which looks into visa issues, shares that the number of visa applications from Hyderabad in 2022 almost hit pre-COVID levels thanks to the ease of travel and the removal of the travel ban.
According to the reports, in 2022, Hyderabadis wanted 95% of the pre-pandemic number of visas and clocked a 129% growth as compared to 2021. On the other hand, on a national level, volumes reached 80% of pre-pandemic levels. However, they declined to share the number of visa applications.
It is found that it is better for applicants to apply early to avoid any last-minute surprises. According to VFS Global, there is also an increase in demand for personalized services such as visas at your doorstep (VAYD) since the pandemic, and there has been a 2X surge in 2022.
For the unversed, VAYD services enable travelers to book their entire experience from 16 countries, that include the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Finland, and Hungary, among others. Health considerations have also upped the need for such a seamless visa application process.
