Former captain of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma has been stripped of the captaincy role before the start of the new season. There are reports that the entire Mumbai Indians camp is not pleased with the decision to replace Rohit with Hardik Pandya as the captain.

Now, in a major development, Rohit Sharma has skipped an important event orchestrated by Mumbai Indians.

Incidentally, the Mumbai Indians franchise took their players on a team-building trip to Alibaug today. The entire squad is taking part in this two-day-long team-building event, barring one main man – Rohit Sharma.

Rohit wasn’t seen at the team-bonding event in Alibaug and he is the only noted absentee here. This has further added weight to the speculations that Rohit is not pleased with the franchise and this could well be his last year with them.

Rohit is widely regarded as the most warm-hearted captain for India and also Mumbai Indians and he is a dear leader for all the youngsters in the side. Now, seeing him skip important events of Mumbai, a team that he has been a part of for over a decade is not a pleasant sight for fans.
