Former MP Vijayasai Reddy made interesting comments about his Number Two Position in YSR Congress.
“YouTube and satellite channels say that Sai Reddy is number 2. There is no number 2 in regional parties. The president of our old party (YSR Congress) himself said that there is no one from 1 to 100 in the Regional Parties. It is from 101. From November 2014 to May 28, 2019, I single-handedly led the YCP. I made a plan with Jagan Mohan Reddy and Prashant Kishor and coordinated with the rest to lead the party forward. Even at that time, I did not think that I was number 2 in the party,” Sai Reddy said.

“The coterie around Jagan told him that Vijaya Sai Reddy had looted thousands of crores of rupees, would be a backstabber, and would displace you. Jagan changed his mind and reduced me from the 2nd position to the 2000th position, Sai Reddy added.
So this could be the reason for Jagan keeping Sai Reddy away.

It is quite common for every politician would say before the media that he did not earn any money.
It is clear that Jagan believed that Sai Reddy had looted thousands of crores of rupees and felt the former MP could be a threat to his position.

Earning money in the YSR Congress Government is never a problem, but then, it may be that Jagan thought Sai Reddy is earning without his knowledge and probably without giving the necessary cut to him.
As far as Sai Reddy backstabbing Jagan, this is something very interesting.
Sai Reddy had surprising access to the BJP Leadership in Delhi.
He always got the Appointment of the Prime Minister and Home Minister, even when the then CM Chandrababu Naidu was struggling to get one.
At that time, everyone thought Sai Reddy was brokering peace between the BJP and the YSR Congress.
Everyone believed Sai Reddy played a crucial role in saving Jagan from the ED, CBI, and YS Vivekananda Reddy’s case.
But it looks like Jagan thought otherwise. He thought Sai Reddy is conspiring against him and felt the latter as a threat.
That is when Jagan started downsizing Vijayasai Reddy, and that obviously did not go well with the former MP.
Sai Reddy was associated withthe YSR Family for three generations. Antagonizing him is a big danger as far as the pending cases on Jagan are concerned.
