Most Advisors do not even have a Chamber or office and never report to Work.
In contrast, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu appointed an advisor and the appointment brought respect to the post and the Government.
On Thursday, the state government issued an order appointing Kannayya Naidu as the adviser of the mechanical department of the water resources department.
He will be a consultant for hydraulic gates and equipment handling for irrigation projects.
Recently, Kannayya Naidu played a key role in setting up the temporary gate for the Tungabhadra project.
When a gate of the project got washed away, Kannayya Naidu arranged a temporary gate and saved several TMCs of water from going to waste.
The government is worried about the gates of various irrigation projects in AP.
The government will seek Kannayya’s suggestions regarding the maintenance of the gates including the repairs of the project gates.
