There is Understanding Between Revanth-Chandrababu

Jagan Mohan Reddy press conference

Jagan Mohan Reddy, former Chief Minister and YSRCP leader, held a press conference at his Tadepalli office. The meeting lasted for over an hour and focused on allegations against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Jagan mainly addressed two issues during the press meet. The first was the allegation that industries exited Andhra Pradesh during his tenure as Chief Minister.

He stated that Chandrababu and his ministers were quoting only project announcements and not actual grounding of industries. Jagan cited a report released by the Reserve Bank of India on December 11, 2025.

According to the RBI report, Andhra Pradesh ranked fifth in the manufacturing sector in India and first in south India during 2014-19. Jagan said these were official figures, while Chandrababu was spreading false narratives.

Jagan alleged that it was during Chandrababu’s tenure that industries began exiting the state. He asked reporters to note company names such as Aurobindo, Dalmia Cements, Sachin Jindal, My Home Cements, Ramko Cements, and others.

He further alleged that no company could survive in any district of Andhra Pradesh without paying bribes to Chandrababu.

Jagan then shifted focus to the Rayalaseema lift irrigation project. He accused Chandrababu and his irrigation minister of spreading false information and claimed the project was deliberately stalled.

He said the project could have provided water to interior districts of Rayalaseema. Jagan alleged that Chandrababu betrayed the people of Chittoor and his native Kuppam, drawing a parallel with the alleged betrayal of his father-in-law NTR.

To support his claims, Jagan presented figures related to water projects. He stated that Telangana constructed projects without permissions in 2021.

He alleged that while Telangana was diverting water through Palamuru-Rangareddy and SLBC, Andhra Pradesh continued to suffer.

Jagan also alleged that recent statements by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy indicated a tacit understanding between Revanth Reddy and Chandrababu.

He further alleged that Chandrababu was caught in the note for vote case and claimed this was the reason for his silence on water issues.
