The hugely one-sided election in Andhra Pradesh has resulted in YCP getting deprived of even the opposition party status. The outright domination of the Kutami has meant that Jagan is just an MLA in the assembly and not even the opposition leader.
Coming to the topic, the latest developments are suggesting that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s fairytale period as the CM of AP is done and only hardships follow him henceforth.
During his tenure as the CM of AP, Jagan skipped the CBI investigation in the disproportionate assets case some hundreds of times by saying he is occupied with administrative work. The CBI court in Nampally too permitted him over the proposition that he is the CM of the state.
Cut to now, Jagan Mohan Reddy has no other additional duties apart from being an MLA. The excuse of being the CM is no longer a shield for Jagan from the hearing in CBI cases.
So, much like how Jagan had to attend the investigation prior to 2019, he must resume the process now. It could become a common sight to see Jagan at CBI Nampally court every Friday as he takes part in the hearing.
