One of the principal complaints from Sarpanchs and local leaderships in Andhra Pradesh has been the lack of issuance of funds from the state government. This is a result of the lack of income avenues for the state.
Recently, a lady Sarpanch from Rayalaseema region who worked tirelessly for YCP cried in front of media, saying she dreamed of doing so much for the people but is now restrained due to lack of funds.
Now, another Sarpanch who was once a loyal supporter of YCP has faced the wrath and has slapped himself with a slipper in front of the public.
Aarugolanu village Sarpanch, Peethala Buchibabu who is also Tadepalligudem Sarpanch chamber chief has slapped himself with slipper, saying he made a cardinal sin by supporting Jagan.
“I worked for 10 years for Jagan. I sidelined my family also for Jagan. I prayed to god for him to get bail while he was in jail. But what I got in return is humiliation as I wasn’t even given a respectable position in the party. I wasn’t allowed to serve my public either” Buchi Babu said while slapping himself.
The Sarpanch then begged for forgiveness from the public for making this mistake. This incident has become a hot topic in the area.
