YSRCP government has been facing a whole lot of heat for the lack of income avenues and this has been a huge concern from day one. The same has started to affect the local leadership of the party.
Due to the lack of development and infra projects, the state finances have taken a beating in the contractors and developers ecosystem. The wrath is being felt by Sarpanchs who are strengthened and worked for YCP before the election.
Like for instance, a lady Sarpanch named Vijayalakshmi from Venkatagiri, Tirupati wept in front of her people and media while speaking about the lack of funds for development projects in her jurisdiction.
“I spent many lakhs for YCP before the election and hoped to serve my people. But I’m not getting a single rupee fund now to do something for my people” the YCP Sarpanch said.
The lack of funds right from the administration level means the low level leaders including the Sarpanch will have nothing to work with. The plight of Venkatagiri Sarpanch clearly shows the same.
