Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met his Telangana Counterpart, K Chandrasekhara Rao, a little while ago at Pragathi Bhavan, Hyderabad. Jagan was accompanied by TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy, MPs – Peddireddy Midhun Reddy, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, and others.
The Chief Minister had invited KCR for Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavalu. Jagan had handed over the Official Invitation from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board. This is the first time the Telangana Chief Minister is officially invited to Tirumala.
KCR reportedly accepted the invitation. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be officially taking Silk Clothes to the Lord on the behalf of the State Government as it is a custom for the Brahmotsavams every year. It has to be seen if KCR will join Jagan Mohan Reddy on that day.
Various contentious issues between both the Telugu States including the Mega Project of Godavari and Krishna Rivers linking were discussed. Bifurcation-related issues, including government staff division, outstanding dues in various departments also came up between both the Chief Ministers.
