Andhra Pradesh politics witnessed a new high point with the shocking revelation made by Vijaya Sai Reddy as he said the YCP leadership brought him further away from Jagan.
The most shocking thing about his revelation is that he said he was physically and mentally assaulted by this one particular top placed individual in the YCP ranks.
People are already drawing to the conclusion that it was Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, who might have physically abused Sai Reddy during 2022 YCP plenary. There are countless theories on this matter already.
But the fundamental question here is that Vijaya Sai has been a hard-core loyalist for the YS family for many decade.
Vijay SI had been with family right from the days of Raja Reddy in financial matters and then followed it up with connections with Rajasekhar Reddy. In fact, he was prepared to go to jail for looking after the financial matters of Jagan.
While such a hard-core loyalist was being physically abused in front of Jagan, it is extremely shocking to see the YCP chief maintaining stoic silence. This isn’t in the nature of Jagan, who is generally aggressive and calculated with his decisions.
And a person who went to jail for him was being attacked, Jagan will ideally not be silent unless something much bigger was running in his mind. This is perhaps a reflection of the fact that Vijaya Sai has said Jagan had instructed YCP working cadre that he(Sai) was growing old and he’s not in a position to lead at fundamental level.
