Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is straight away heading into the Election mood. Sources say that KCR is all set to release the list of candidates for the elections in the next week or ten days.
They say 80% of the sitting MLAs are given another chance. Eight to fifteen MLAs are likely to be denied tickets. This early announcement will be a huge psychological advantage to BRS and will leave the opposition parties shocked.
Also, BRS will appear more prepared than Congress or BJP to the General Public.
The election mood is already on in Andhra Pradesh as well. Lokesh is doing Padayatra and Chandrababu Naidu is doing constituency tours. Pawan Kalyan also started his Varahi yatra.
Jagan just started coming into the people in the name of public meetings.
Both Chandrababu and Jagan have started preparing their first list of candidates. Lokesh and Chandrababu are already announcing the candidates in their tours.
But it will all boil down to who will announce the first list first.
For Chandrababu Naidu, alliances will be a headache to take a head start and for Jagan, it is risky to deny tickets for sitting MLAs with elections still nine months to go.
But then, whosoever will announce the list first will have the advantage of how KCR will get.
In 2019, it was Jagan who announced a majority of candidates first but even then, it is only after the election schedule is announced. Chandrababu is usually known for delaying the candidates’ announcement until the last minute.
But this time, there is a clear change in him.
