YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSR Congress Party leaders are struggling to come to terms with their crushing defeat against the alliance of the Telugu Desam Party, Jana Sena, and Bharatiya Janata Party.

YCP leaders are offering various excuses for their defeat daily. Recently, YCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that TDP, JSP, and BJP are enjoying a “honeymoon” in Andhra Pradesh.

He also expressed confidence that people would soon bring YCP back to power and reminded the NDA that his party has 15 MPs in Parliament (11 in Rajya Sabha and 4 in Lok Sabha).

Jagan emphasized that YCP is equally powerful in Parliament and asserted that no one can challenge his leaders. He urged his party members to remain brave and support the people.

Meanwhile, cabinet minister Satya Kumar Yadav made a satire on Jagan for his statements, pointing out that YCP is holding “condolence meetings” without any public presence.

He also suggested that YCP leaders aren’t getting enlightened even after experiencing humiliating defeat at the hands of people.




In the recently held General Elections, YCP managed to secure only 11 assembly seats and four Lok Sabha seats.
