In the last five years, we have seen Jagan Mohan Reddy promising the moon for the people of Vishakapatnam. In the name of Executive Capital, Jagan tried to woo the people there in all possible ways and finally, did not even lay a single brick anywhere.
But then, the fact is that Vishakapatnam is not the Executive Capital of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan made the city the Mortgage Capital of Andhra Pradesh.
In the White Paper tabled today in the Assembly, it has been revealed that Jagan mortgaged various Government properties of the Port City and brought 1,941 Crore loans.
Government Polytechnic College, Dairy Farm, Government ITI College, Police Quarters, Training and Production Center for Disable Welfare, EE Bungalow, R&B Quarters, Rythu Bazaar, Circuit House, PWD Office, Sericulture, and Seethammadhara Tahsildar Office were mortgaged as they are located in Prime Areas of the City.
Mortgaging Police Quarters and Rythu Bazaar are heights of incompetence and shamelessness.
The people of Vishakapatnam saw through Jagan more than the rest of the state.
YSR Congress drew a blank in the entire Vishakapatnam district in the recent elections. In the four constituencies that cover Vizag City, the party’s candidates lost with massive majorities. TDP also won the Vishakapatnam Parliament with a massive margin.
