YS Jaganmohan Reddy established YSR Congress with the very strong basement of opposing Telugu Desam and Congress. So he is naturally bound to have aversion towards both parties.
Now, when Jagan was asked to rate the performance of the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, he had a strange reaction.
Jagan said he cannot write the government from the national perspective, considering that the BJP is also part of the alliance. He maintain strategic silence due to the involvement of BJP and it has been the case for a really long time now as well.
When it comes to the state level, Jagan says there isn’t much to speak about this government as it failed on many of its electoral promises. He was straightforward with his comment as he pointed out that the majority of the poll promises made by the NDA government were left to go in vain.
As expected, Jagan did not have a good rating of the government in Andhra Pradesh as he made strong comments on super six and lack of integrity to uphold electoral integrity.
But at the same time, it must be noted that Jagan himself is misinformed about the public mandate to the degree that his YCP fell from 151 to 11 while he was the CM. So, his assessment of the current government cannot be entirely comprehensible either.
