Andhra Pradesh politics are extremely direct and aggressive in nature and perfect representation of this can be held from the present scenario between Jagan and his sister Sharmila.
There is an open political and property war that is happening between Jagan and his sister at this point in time as the two of them are not even on talking terms.
For instance, Sharmila held the engagement ceremony of her daughter Anjili Reddy in Hyderabad yesterday, and it was attended by several dignitaries from Telugu states. In fact, even Telangana CM Revanth Reddy attended the event.
However Jagan, who should have been the closest member for this event, decided to completely ignore it in the first place. There was no trace of him or any other YCP representatives at the event.
There might be political and personal differences, but that does not mean courtesy visits for family functions are to be put to sword. But sadly, for the followers of the YS family, Jagan appears to be very monotonous in his approach.
After witnessing that the former CM did not take the time or the occasion to spend time with his sister’s family on a special occasion, people are commenting that Jagan appears to have no love left for Sharmila.
Earlier, Jagan had attended the wedding ceremony of Sharmila’s son in Hyderabad in 2024, and that was the last public appearance of their two of them together. Things have gone for their bad since then, as had open the campaign against her brother which is very bad in Jagan’s books.
Now we have to patiently wait and see if Jagan would at least attend the wedding ceremony of Sharmila’s daughter in November.
