Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the process of reshuffling the party incharges in certain constituencies. The first list of eleven new incharges is already out and there are rumors that Jagan will change about 100 candidates for 2024.
Along with the candidates, political circles are abuzz and there is a shuffle in the I-PAC team as well.
I-PAC deployed teams in every constituency to constantly check about the performance of the MLAs and how the welfare schemes are reaching the people.
But then, the problem is that these teams have been deployed at the same place for a couple of years now.
They have become friends with local MLAs and leaders and are giving reports favorable to such leaders in exchange for cash and kind.
And then, in some places, these people are bossing over the MLAs and the local leaders.
“Some I-PAC representatives do not visit the constituency as much as they should. They hire local reporters and send reports on what they say. These reporters brag about sending negative reports on the local MLA and thereby indirectly negatively talk about the MLAs and the MPs,” sources say.
Sources say that all the existing teams will be withdrawn from the constituencies once the incharges are completely changed.
At the same time, there are doubts about how Jagan can change the candidates when he has doubts over the authenticity of the reports given by the I-PAC team.
