No Public Response, But Jagan Doesn’t Care?

Jagan and YSRCP protest call

YS Jagan is a true mass leader who can pull the masses in big numbers when his steps out. But the problem has come with the fact that he is very reluctant when it comes to stepping out for public protests.

After having lost the power in 2024, Jagan did not take party in a single protest or a public event till now. But in the meanwhile, he has been instructing his party cadres to indulge in protests.

A similar trajectory is being observed now as Jagan has instructed YSR Congress supporters to take part in massive protests across Andhra Pradesh tomorrow. This is a protest against the incumbent Chandrababu government, which will be completing two years since Babu took charge.

Jagan said Chandrababu has failed farmers, Amaravati citizens, and the weaker sections by failing in implementing super six. He called for statewide protests on this matter.

However, the crucial point of difference here is that the public response for these protests that are being held by YSR Congress has been strictly minimal. In fact, not many people are even aware of these protests happening in the first place.

Without Jagan on the ground, these activities from YCP will yield virtually nothing. Jagan must be aware of the same, but he appears to be patiently holding back his energies for the 2027 Pada Yatra that he proudly announced earlier.
