Jagan Camp Office

At a time when Andhra Pradesh government and the state finances are rattling, the government has reportedly spent a whopping Rs 433 crores on the camp office of the chief minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The budget has gone up more than 16% as compared to what was expected.

First, Rs 350.16 crore was released through the AP tourism development fund. And an additional 16% of the project cost was incurred due to the extravagant spending that followed.

Intercooling rafters were fixed between the walls to condition the temperature inside the building. 18 MM plywood is used to contain the damage due to heat, bacteria, and water inside the premises. The building is equipped with super costly and best-in-range facilities.

Apart from that, 138 single-seater sofas, 42 two-seater sofas, 25 three-seater sofas, 721 executive seats, 205 tables, and 20 beds and cots were ordered for this building. A whopping Rs 14 crores were spent on the furnishing alone.

The government released 10 new GOs on 18 November night alone for the allocations for this building. In total, the project has costed over Rs 433 crores till now.
