YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the richest politician in the country. But he still does careful spending when it comes to money from his own pocket.
On Thursday, Jagan arrived in Gannavaram from Bengaluru. He took an ordinary commercial flight by Indigo and arrived in Gannavaram along with his wife, Bharathi Reddy.
After the 2019 election campaign, Jagan stopped using ordinary flights.
He always traveled through Special Flights paid by the Government Exchequer.
He spent a bit on a couple of flights after the recent results but probably thought enough was enough. On Thursday, he traveled along with other passengers in a regular flight from Bengaluru to Gannavaram.
Jagan may have to attend the court hearings every Friday going forward. When in power, he evaded the court hearings citing various reasons.
Unless he stays in Hyderabad, he has to commute every week. Probably, he thought this is the most economical way.
Strange are the ways of the Politicians like Jagan. They spend like Sultans when Public money is involved and like poor paupers when their own money has to be spent.
