Jana Sena party was supposed to hold its foundation day celebrations on March 14. The venue for the large-scale celebrations was decided as Pithapuram. But the latest update regarding the celebrations is that they won’t happen at Pithapuram.
And the reason is rather simple and timely. With the summer scorching the state, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan decided to call off the celebrations. Instead, the celebrations will be held at city, district and mandal levels.
Pawan Kalyan himself announced his cadre to celebrate the foundation day grandly in their areas. Jana Sainiks, veera mahilalu and Jana Sena leaders celebrate the foundation day in a grand way just like a festival.
In 2025, the Jana Sena Foundation Day celebrations at Pithapuram made headlines for the huge spread laid out for the cadre as a part of celebrations. 50 stalls were set up to cater to all those present.
This year too, there were big plans. However, things suddenly changed. In national media, there is talk about Pawan Kalyan or Lokesh taking over the mantle from CM Chandrababu prior to 2029 elections.
After the Ambati Rambabu incident, there is a return to emergence of kapu lobbies wanting to grab power in the state through Pawan Kalyan.
With all these developments, Jana Sena is in the center of political parlays in Andhra Pradesh.
