JSP’s Performance in Telangana Polls?

Pawan Kalyan Janasena

In the high-stakes Telangana assembly elections, all eyes were on the Congress as it appeared to be surging ahead in the exit polls, challenging Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena is making its debut in Telangana general assembly elections and its fate seems uncertain. Even in Kukatpally which was touted to be a strong zone for Janasena due to the extensive population of Pawan Kalyan fans, the party might lose its deposit with only 10.71% votes, as per one agency.

Pawan Kalyan, in a recent event, talked about corruption and increasing issues in Telangana. He emphasized the need for fairness by having a leader from the backward classes. Janasena decided to join the elections after people’s requests, aiming to work for everyone.

Contesting in 8 out of 119 seats marked Janasena’s entry into the Telangana politics. But the path is tough, and the results day will reveal if their message of justice and inclusivity has struck a chord with the people.

The fate of Janasena in Telangana’s political world is still uncertain, and the results will tell us more about their standing and future possibilities in the state.
